New update automatically installed & now Growlr doesnt work!! (I have an iPhone 4). Bad!!

Good To meet new People, too many adds in the free Version. Wait before you push somebody in the top row, because the adds pop up being delayed

Two stars are missing because there are still two big flaws: 1. There is now no way to see when Growlr is temporarily out of service. An attempt to send a message will result in the total loss of that message. Other apps store that message for a later try to send it again. Here it has to be typed all over again. 2. Chats are being stored in the device used only, not in the apps server. Result: chats are not available on other devices. In other apps I have full access to all old chats no matter if I use my iPhone or iPad.

This is a great social app that can be used to connect to like minded people. It is nice to see the gay bear community brought together this way. The app can be used in a variety of different ways. Use your imagination! One suggestion I might make, add a couples category in both your Galleries section and the profile descriptions. Thank you, Growlr.

Out of the host of gay social apps, Growlr lags behind without any noticeable refreshes since I adopted it years ago. Lately the ads have just been too much. The banners are fine, but the forced full-screen, 10-second timeout ads with tiny close buttons that appear after 5 seconds are easily the MOST invasive, disruptive ads Ive ever seen in an app ever. Period. Much better apps out that there that offer a better free service.

Shows you on-line when none active for hours, constant crashes AFTER you sent a message only to type it all over again and hope it goes through. After upgrade I lost all my contacts and messages. A lot more chubs and chasers than bears ..

Im running a iPhone 4s and with this last update I cant even open the app. I cant even go back to the previous version as it automatically updates :( very unhappy

Cant even get the app to open. Just opens window and crashes. Thanks for a crappy update. I cant stay in contact with some new friends

This app is so much better than Scruff, Grindr, and POF in its design parameters and general community of users (hence my 4 stars), HOWEVER I havent been able to open the app since the October 19th update, and the latest recent update to fix that issue isnt working (for me) either. Im using an iphone 4S (OS ver.7.1.2.) all I get is about two seconds of blank yellow screen before it crashes, sending me back to my phone desktop. I can then go back and briefly open growlr, which shows me the brown logo header and my profile menu screen (with inactive actions and support menus showing) before blinking out again after about a second. Again, Im patiently awaiting fix with next update... I am assuming that if I delete the app from my phone entirely and try downloading it from scratch that Ill lose all of my previously saved conversations, favourites, and other information. Or, as previous reviewers mentioned, be unable to download it at all. Crikey, I might have to put down my thinkscreen and talk to someone face to face in order to get laid! The horror...

After a while of having a free membership status on Growlr I decided to purchase a 3 month pro membership. Well I purchased it today and Growlr did not recognize my purchase from Apple account. Very disappointed. I will not be renewing with Growlr. In fact I will be demanding a full refund from Growlr. I will be contacting my lawyer. Create a better payment system that recognizes customers right away when they upgrade their membership to Pro.

Lots of "Growlr service is not available at this time" after one sends messages or pictures are a waste of time frustrating users. Please eliminate this error. Also hangs quite often for what it seems a long time.

I never signed up for Pro auto renewal and I got a notification. The app is boring and the design is awful
